An attractive (read extravagant) batsman, with a specialization in T20s, Henry Davids is one of those star attractions in the South African domestic circuit. Add to that his ability to roll his arm over and sneak in useful overs in the disguise of off-spin. His stint with the South African national team however fizzled out without a lot of noise.
His domestic career over the years has been pretty nomadic. He started off with Boland and got his career kickstarted with a truckload of runs, which included a century as well, in his first handful of games. This was way back in 2000 but such was the lull that followed that his next century took an entire six years to come by. A switch to Cape Cobras and the advent of T20 cricket as a format did a world of good to him.
